November Call Breakdown
UCFD#1 responded to 520 incidents throughout November — a 4% increase from this time last year. Of those calls, 372 (72%) occurred while at least one other emergency was already in progress, keeping our crews working nonstop.
We averaged 17 calls per day, and 88% of all responses were for emergency medical services — underscoring the critical need for fully-staffed ambulance crews with highly-trained paramedics ready to respond at a moment’s notice.
