October Call Breakdown

Last month, UCFD#1 responded to 519 incidents, a 9% increase from October 2024. Of these calls, 82% (427) were emergency medical services, treating a total of 299 patients.

Notably, 65% of calls (339 incidents) occurred while at least one other emergency was already in progress, underscoring the importance of adequate staffing and effective resource allocation. On average, crews responded to 17 incidents per day in October.

Throughout the month, UCFD#1 continued to collaborate closely with neighboring fire agencies, including Boardman Fire Rescue District and Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District, to provide & receive mutual aid to ensure high-quality service throughout the region.
